I have a motorola waterproof walkie talkies and the batteries are charged however, one of the walkie talkies wont turn on. They haven't been exposed to water so it shouldnt be water damage. They have only been used a few times but haven't been used for about a year not sure if that has something to do with it.

The same thing happened to me, all you have to do is put it on charge for 20 mins, then take it out, keep on pressing the on button, leave again for 5 mins and then click the on button and it should turn on. It just needs a boot or a jumpstart if you have not used it for a long time like me :) Hope this helps

Replace the rechargeable batteries in the each unit, and they will likely be fine. The batteries do not recover if unused for a long period of time.
