Its bolted to the frame and maybe rusted onto the treads..Be careful removing to not turn the lines.They may break..Its on the drives side frame rail back to wards the tank Good luck and take your time..Have a great day..
no only a screen inside the tank unless someone added one prior to you owning it

Behind the fuel tank just ahead of the rear axle.
You may have to remove the fuel vapor canister to get access to the filter.
relief fuel pressure.remove air intake duct .the dohc engine remove the fresh air hose inlet hose from cam shaft cover.disconnect large under hood fuel line.near intake manifold support bracket on the left side of vehicle. look under vechicle where gas tank is there is a fuel filter with disconnects.
